MyUWS - How to View a Class List with Student Photos
Student photos taken during orientation and or stored in BadgePass will display in MyUWS. Faculty can view the photos on the ‘Class Lists’ for courses they are listed as teaching in PowerCampus. Photos can be view on the ‘Class List’ for all on-campus students who have registered for the course being
Prerequisites
The following prerequisites are necessary to view a class list with photos in MyUWS
- Faculty must be listed on the course section in PowerCampus
- Photo must have been taken during orientation and/or be stored in BadgePass.
Note: Most photos available will be for on-campus students
Process
- Login to MyUWS, https://my.uws.edu/SelfService/Home.aspx
- Choose a path to get to Class List
From the Home tab
Path: Home > Class List > Enrollment > Select Course from available terms > Image View
From the Classes tab
There are a couple of ways to get to the Class List
Path: Classes > Enrollment > Select Course from available terms > Image View
Path: Classes > Schedule > Faculty Schedule > View Class List > Image View

Print Class List
Faculty can print a list of the students with photos who have enrolled in their classes. For data security purposes it is recommended that the list only be viewed in MyUWS. If a list must to be printed it is strongly recommended that it be saved as a PDF and stored in a secure location, password protected, on the UWS server.
Class List > Image View
- View the Class List for the specified Course in Image View
- Click “Print List” under Options in the left pane
- Click Print in the pop-up window
- Destination: Save as PDF
- Save Final PDF in a secure location on the UWS server, password protected
NOTE:
All FERPA guidelines related to confidential student information must be followed when accessing and using student class or photo rosters from MyUWS, Self Service
View Student Dossier
The student’s photo is a link to more information about the student. To view the student’s dossier:
- Select the student’s photo
- View the information that is available for the student
- Student’s Name (Prefix, First Name, Middle Name, Last Name Prefix, Last Name, Former Name, Suffix, and Nickname)
- Student’s preferred E-mail Address
- Student’s Photo (if your school has chosen to display photos)
- Address and phone information
- Residency information
- Emergency Contacts
- Academic information (GPA and Curriculum)
- Associations to which the student has belonged
- Student course schedule
- When finished viewing the student’s dossier, select Close Window.
