Summary

The following videos have resources selected to help you better understand Microsoft Teams, our new communication and collaboration platform. Teams is both FERPA and HIPPA compliant, provided the end users follow the necessary procedures. If you're brand new to Teams, check out the overview series that we've put together. These short videos (all below 5 minutes in length) will get you up to speed with this powerful new desktop application. Quick Guide: Microsoft has created a guide that has detailed descriptions of the Teams interface. While it focuses on meetings (meeting options, attending a meeting, and meeting settings) it also covers assignments, grades and OneNote (see attachments to the right).
Teams Help Menu: Most of us are familiar with the traditional help menu in Microsoft, where you can search for key terms or features. With Teams, Microsoft has provided some additional options to provide assistance and insight into Teams. The Teams Help Menu can be found on the bottom of the left navigation within Teams.
- Topics: The traditional help menu where you can search for your specified topic
- Training: Browse through several short videos (around 2 minutes each)
- What's New: Stay on top of the recent changes that have been made to Teams. Whether it is an added feature or an enhancement to a current feature.
- Suggest a Feature: The Microsoft User Voice allows you to provide suggestions on features and functionality. You can create new suggestions or search for ones that have already been made and vote on them. The more votes received, the higher it will be in the priority list for Microsoft.
- Report a Problem: If Teams isn't working, you can open a ticket with Microsoft to report the issue
