Office 365 - Logging In (Online)
This article will show you how to log into Office 365 in order to access online Microsoft applications.
Prerequisites
In order to access Office 365 online the following must be true:
- An Office 365 account has been created for you by an IT member through the onboarding process; and
- You are a student of UWS; or
- You are an employee of UWS
Steps
Follow these steps to log into Office 365 to access the application suite from the internet:
1. Go to www.office.com from any browser.
2. Click on 'Sign in'
3. Enter your UWS email and click 'Next'
4. Enter your associated password and click 'Sign in'
5. If you haven't logged in before you will be asked to verify your account by enter a security code that is sent to your phone on record. Enter the code that is sent to your phone and click 'Verify'
6. Click 'Yes' to reduce the number of time you are asked to login.
7. You can create a new document, access UWS email, view saved documents, share documents and much more.
Note: certain applications may not be available to you. By default everyone will have at least Outlook, OneDrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote. Students currently do not receive Teams.
